Well, this is something that I always wanted to do..but was delaying it for no specific reason...
Today is Independence day and I thought i need to do something gratifying :) so I thought I would make a start finally....
We have come a long way since 1947......India now figures in the world economy map...so thats a phenomenal achievement...
To top it all, Mr AB brought home a Olympic gold...what a better way to celebrate an Independence day....
Had a great day celebrating Independence day...one thing i have realized is that over time, more and more folks are getting patriotic...which is something i really like...i m just waiting for a day when we will have fireworks like the Americans do on July 4th..
Anyways, my wifey is calling.with two years happily married, one learns how to obey :)

Its very nice to read your blog. Long time since we met.
Wanted to comment on one thing. Why do we always crib for America. For instance, every one has his or her own way of expression. If Americans show their happiness by firworks on Independence Day, then we Indians show our delight by Kite flying, Flag Hosting, & visiting friends & neighbours. Right! Thats what our cluture is ... and this is what we are best at :-). We just need to realize this. Once we realize such things, we will understand that we are no less than any one ... probably on this earth ;-)
